Aim your phone at any plane in the sky, even a tiny dot or just a contrail. Live labels float over every flight in view.

Lock
JetDex fuses GPS, compass, camera and live ADS-B data to lock on to the exact flight. If two planes are close, it keeps tracking until it’s sure.

Catch
Snap it. Get a chunky card with the airline, route, aircraft, altitude and speed, plus a live arc of where it’s headed.

Inspired by an Italian childhood game
When a plane flies over, the first to call it wins. JetDex turns that old game into a race with your friends.
Catch the same flight as your crew and the first four spotters each earn their own line, in order, with its own animation and award. Everybody wants to be first.
Questions
How does JetDex know which plane it is?
Planes broadcast their position over ADS-B. JetDex combines that live data with your phone’s GPS, compass, camera direction and zoom to work out exactly which aircraft you are pointing at, and it corrects for compass drift as you use it.
Is it free?
Yes. JetDex is free to download and the whole game is free to play. We may add an optional extra tier later, but nothing you need will be locked.
When can I get it?
We’re testing it in the skies over Milan right now. Join the waitlist and you’ll be among the first to get it on iPhone or Android.
Does it work anywhere?
Anywhere planes fly over and there’s ADS-B coverage, which is most of the world. You need a view of the sky and a data connection.
